JAIME FOURNIER : “RE-EMERGENT”
It is with great joy that we present the exhibition of Jaime Fournier, one of our collaborators/participants in the physical MSA Space since 1987. This opening is the exhibition re-emergence we’ve created for Miami Art Week, which is also our second show in MSAs virtual space.
The new works that Jaime Fournier is presenting for this exhibition is a compilation of re-organization. Currently, he is evaluating all his past and present to create a new synthesis in his work.
THE MAN THAT COULD FLY, KMAN , selected works
Virtual SPACE MSA-eXperimental, 2020
MSA-X celebrates 35 years of founded with the opening of the exhibition “The Man That Could Fly” artworks by Jorge Bartlett, 1957-2008, best known as KMAN. Kman was one of MSA’s most important collaborators since its inauguration in 1985 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
One of the first interventions of KMAN, was in 1983 during a John Cage conference at Florida International University in Miami, wearing a mosquito net, camouflage vest and face paint. During the whole conference the perplexed public tried ussesly to ignore the uninvited visitor withouth success!.
LUIS PADREDA-CAMPOS : “SIT HERE”, 2020 MSA-Experimenta V SPACE
It is with enthusiasm that we present the exhibition of Luis Padreda-Campos, one of our collaborators/participants in the physical MSA Space since 1985.
We have known Luis for many years. Luis is an artist and avid art viewer. He has been working in his art form since he was a child. From his new artwork, well out of the thousands, he provided us with 5 images for this show where we can appreciate his mixed media at work.
Nestor Otero VIrtual Installation
MSA-Experimental is deeply saddened by the loss of Néstor Otero, a great artist and a friend with whom we shared great moments for more than 30 years. To honor him we decided to finish and present to all our visitors the virtual exhibition that we have been working with Néstor for the last months.
MSA Virtual Space, send the most heartfelt condolences to his wife, the artist, and collaborator in this thing we call art, Annex Burgos, as well as to his daughter, family, and friends.
Thank you Nestor for your inspiration and the impressive mark you have left in all of us.
